This class is hosted by the local non-profit Let’s Go Compost. Ready to reduce your waste? Learn the ABC's and 123's of composting at home with worms! In this class, Let's Go Compost will go over how to create a worm bin from scratch (with a pre-made upcycled worm bin kit for you to take home at the end of the workshop), how to get started, the difference between browns and greens, solutions to common problems like bugs and smell, with a Q&A session at the end.

ALL proceeds from the event will go to fund Let’s Go Composts FREE K-12 Classroom Composting program!

NOTE: This ticket DOES NOT include Red Wiggler worms for your worm compost bin. We are happy to direct you to local and online places to purchase your composting worms at the end of class.

In this hands-on workshop, you will create your own succulent garden in a planter provided by Julio from PSA Art Awakenings.  PSA Art Awakenings is a psycho-social rehabilitation program that offers outpatient services for individuals with a Mental Health diagnosis.

Bring a few beautiful pest-free plants to trade. They can be potted or bareroot. If you are new to the plant world and do not have anything to trade you are welcome to purchase a plant to swap! We will kick it off with intros and info about the plants that you have brought to swap.
